Recipe: Cornbread Casserole

Recipe: Cornbread Casserole
Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (15 1/4-ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (14 3/4-ounce) can cream-style corn
  • 1/4 cup of milk
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz. of a boxed corn bread mix (such as Krusteaz, Jiffy, or store brand)

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2. Grease an 8"x8" glass dish or casserole dish.

3. Melt the butter.

4. Mix all of the ingredients together until well blended. This includes the melted butter, can of corn, can of cream-style corn, milk, sour cream, and corn bread mix. I used my kitchen aid mixer with a paddle (not a whisk) attachment.
Pour the batter into the greased glass dish or casserole dish.

5. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

6. Allow to cool until it is warm for guests to enjoy this delicious cornbread casserole!
