Celebrate National Teddy Bear Day with Build-A-Bear Workshop and Walmart!

National Teddy Bear Day is today!  In today's post, we will tell you about how the iconic Build-A-Bear Workshop stores will make the day special at their own stores and through events at 2,000 Walmart stores.  Today is going to be the biggest celebration of National Teddy Bear Day in history!

Here is the quick overview:

What: National Teddy Bear Day Celebration
When: September 7, 8, and 9, 2019
Where: Build-A-Bear Workshop stores and 2,000 Walmart stores
More details: Participate in exclusive retailtainment events and get a furry friend for $6.50 (while supplies last)
Here is a photo of the trendy bear that is only $6.50 during this limited time.

This three-day event is sure to create happy childhood memories, so you'll want to add it to your to-do list this week. Guests may participate in fun interactive and experiential activities together. Personally, my children have happy memories from their Build-A-Bear experiences and their special furry friends are a part of our family. They are there for nap time, bedtime, car rides, vacations, and more. I love that Build-A-Bear provided my children with such a special experience to create and bond with their furry friends.

In addition to having fun with your own children, Build-A-Bear is also offering a chance for everyone to give back to children in need. Build-A-Bear’s mascot, Bearemy, will be spreading hugs, heart and happiness on Sept. 7 in Build-A-Bear Workshops and on Sept. 8 with visits to iconic landmarks and communities around the world. Everyone who meets Bearemy can snap a picture and share their real-life teddy bear hug using #nationalteddybearday. Until Sept 9, for each photo that is shared with the hashtag, Build-A-Bear Foundation will donate a teddy bear to a child in need (up to 50,000 teddy bears globally). This year’s donation is expected to be the largest single-donation day in history!  I'm really excited because I think that every child should have a soft teddy bear to love. I know that my own children find it soothing to hug their furry friends and that hugs make life better.
