DIY Halloween Mummy Treat Craft with SunRype FruitSource Bars (Peanut-Free + Gluten-Free + Vegan Snacks!)
This DIY craft is a fun activity and treat for class parties. My children's schools are peanut-free, plus some children are not able to consume gluten. SunRype FruitSource bars have been the unicorn of snacks for many of our classes that require peanut-free, gluten-free, and/or vegan snacks. Our children and their classmates love them. Plus, they are fantastic for Trick-or-Treaters on Halloween!
Supplies
- 1 roll of white crepe paper
- 1 package of craft eyeball stickers
- 1 black marker
- 1 glue stick or tape (based on your preference and the age of the children -- tape is better for younger ages)
- SunRype FruitSource Bars
Directions
1. Cut the crepe paper into strips for the children to wrap around their SunRype FruitSource bars. We cut the strips in half lengthwise and then created strips that were approximately 20" long.
2. Let each child select their favorite SunRype FruitSource bar, 1 to 2 strips of crepe paper, and a piece of tape. Help them to wrap the crepe paper around their treat and then use tape to adhere it. If younger children have trouble, remind them that sometimes a messier look is better!
3. Add two eyeball stickers and draw a mouth on each mummy treat! The mummies below were created by a 2-year old and a 10-year old. They both had fun despite their age gaps. Plus, it's universal that they both love the SunRype FruitSource bars!
We hope that this Halloween Mummy Treat is popular with your little ghosts and goblins on Halloween! While the SunRype FruitSource bars are our personal favorite, you'll also find other fantastic peanut-free, gluten-free, or vegan snacks on their website here.
