DIY Shark Valentine's Day Box
Supplies:

• 1 shoe box  (We used an ASICS shoe box because it is navy and light blue to go with our ocean theme)
• Several seashells
• 1 piece of grey felt
• 1 piece of bright green felt
• 1 piece of cardboard
• 1 glue gun with glue
• 1 knife
• 1 pair of scissors
• Optional: Make our Fishing Rod Valentine's Game/Valentines with Slammer's Snacks to match the theme of this Valentine's Day Shark Box!

Directions

1. Cut a slot into the top of the box so that children may insert their Valentines. 

2. Cut a small slit that is approximately 2" long that you will use to insert the shark fin.

3. Cut the cardboard into the shape of a shark fin with a 2"x2"rectangular extension on the bottom of the fin so that you are able to easily push it into a slit for the fin.  

4. Cut the gray felt to match the shape of the fin and then use a glue gun to adhere the felt.

5. Insert the fin into the slit.

6. Use a glue gun to adhere the seashells.

7. Cut the green felt into shapes of seaweed. Adhere to the box with a glue gun.

8. Optionally make our Fishing Rod Valentine's Game/Valentines to match the theme of this Valentine Shark box!
