Torchy's Tacos Now Offers Family Meals!

Tacos are part of life in Texas. The competition is fierce, but one restaurant stands out from the crowd, especially for those of us in the Dallas metro -- Torchy's Tacos!  Prior to our first visit, I remember searching for reviews. There were many variations of people writing that Torchy's has the best tacos.  My family was optimistic about our visit based on the reviews. We quickly learned why so many people love Torchy's Tacos - their food is amazing!  They have fantastic recipes and use good quality ingredients.  Their food is so good that my family members often have cravings for specific menu items.  I was recently thrilled to see that Torchy's Tacos added Family Packs to their menu!  They also offer delivery.

A Torchy's Tacos Family Pack includes your choice of protein, tortillas, freshly prepared toppings, plus rice and beans, to build Torchy’s Damn Good tacos at home – enough for 4-5 servings with the prices starting at $25 (depending on the options that you choose)! The proteins that you may choose from include: 

• Fajita Chicken, 
• Fajita Beef, 
• Green Chile Pork, 
• Brisket, or 
• Trailer Park (fried chicken tenders).  

We ordered the Brisket because that is our family's favorite. (All of the proteins are excellent though!) You have your choice of flour or corn tortillas. We chose our favorite -- corn tortillas.

We appreciated the generous portion size of the Family Pack. It was more than enough for our family of four to enjoy for dinner. Plus, we had leftovers. (My boys are obsessed with Torchy's Tacos and have already staked their claim for the leftovers tomorrow.)

As a Texan and boy mom, there is one thing that I know for sure -- Torchy's Tacos puts all of my family members into a good mood.  The Shelter in Place order for Texas has been rough, but some good things have come out of it including our new appreciation for take-out family meals. I hope that the Torchy's Tacos Family Packs will still be available even after the Texas Shelter in Place order ends. As a boy mom, I am starting to realize how nice it is to order Family Packs for my family!
