How to remove a glue trap that got stuck to the floor #DIY #Glue
We had the most disgusting mess with a glue trap today. I don't know how or why this happened - we had a glue trap that leaked glue all over our tile floor and on the wall. Even worse, there were bugs that had been trapped in the glue trap and they leaked out with this mess. Let me show you how to remove a glue trap that is stuck to the tile floor or stuck to a baseboard or wall.
Supplies:
- 1 razor
- Acetone or nail polish remover that contains acetone (Start small and add more as you need it. We used 1 Tablespoon for the mess in the photo)
- Alternate: If you don't have a razor, try an old knife or plastic knife. The razor works better, but if you don't have one and don't mind the extra work, a knife that you will probably want to throw away when you are done will work.
Directions
1. Apply a small amount of acetone to the mess. We used 1 teaspoon to get started on the mess in the photo.
2. Scrape with the knife or razor until it is all removed. You may need to use an iterative approach of adding more acetone, scraping, adding more acetone, etc. Be very careful because the acetone or nail polish remove will probably damage your paint.
