Lancôme is a brand that makes lives better through good skincare and beauty products. However, did you know that this brand also makes lives better within our communities? The pandemic has caused hardships on many of us over the past year, but it has also reminded us of good people who are willing to sacrifice for the sake of others. If you drive past most of our local hospitals, there are signs that say, "Heroes Work Here!" Indeed, our medical professionals and frontline workers are heroes who made many sacrifices to care for others throughout the pandemic. If you recall the early days of the pandemic when we didn't know quite as much about COVID-19, it's pretty amazing that so many people were willing to be there to help others despite the uncertainty of the risks. We all owe a debt of gratitude to those who took care of others during the pandemic. In today's post, I'll tell you about how Lancôme made an incredible gesture in honor of International Nurses Day. I will also tell you about some of my favorite Lancôme products in case you want to support this iconic brand with a big heart.
Last year, Lancôme launched its worldwide solidarity initiative, Lancôme Cares. Since May 2020, Lancôme has donated over 30,000 care packs valued at approximately $3.5 million to nurses across the United States and over 215,000 worldwide in over thirty countries.If you think about how nurses wear masks throughout their shifts, you'll quickly realize that high end skincare and beauty products are the perfect gift. Personally, I notice that I get mask acne when I wear a mask for too long and need to clean and pamper my skin when I get home. I'm sure that nurses feel the toll on their skin from masks. The Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra Face Cream With SPF 30 is an overachieving moisturizer that offers a generous list of benefits. The team of scientists who created this formula deserve accolades because they figured out how to create a daytime moisturizer with SPF30 protection that is non-greasy, oil-free, and packed with benefits! I love that this formula absorbs quickly and is lightweight without residue. It's very comfortable. It moisturizes to lift, firm, improve wrinkles, and visibly reduce dark spots. These are all benefits that my aging skin appreciates! It's a great moisturizer to apply in mornings whether you wear makeup or not. Now that I've told you about Lancôme Cares, let me tell you about a few of my favorite Lancôme products. I'm a big fan of Lancôme's products, especially their skincare products. Plus, I love knowing that I am supporting a brand that generously donates to nurses around the world during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Lancôme is well known for their iconic skincare products. Personally, I think that good skincare is an important investment. The investment comes in many forms - exercise, hydration, vitamins, sun protection, good quality sleep, regular visits to a dermatologist, and skincare products. In the remainder of this post, I'm excited to tell you about some of my favorite skincare products.

How to apply:
Multi-purpose, Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra Milk Peel* fits into any daily skincare routine and can be used after your cleanser or toner.
● Apply after cleansing routine and/or using a face toner.
● Shake well before use so that both phases mix together.
● Apply several drops to a cotton round.
● Swipe onto skin and allow to dry.
● Avoid contact with eyes and eye contour.
● Follow with moisturizer.
● For daily use, once per day.
If you follow regularly, you may know that I have laser treatments in fall and winter when the sun isn't as strong. In spring and summer, I use at-home products to smooth, refine, and exfoliate my skin. Specifically, I use the Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Ultra Milk Peel daily for smoother and brighter skin. I apply it in the evenings after I wash my face. I simply shake some of the formula onto a cotton pad and gently apply it to my face and neck. (I avoid my eye area.) I allow it to dry for a minute and then apply serum and moisturizer. This product is suitable for sensitive skin. It's perfect for my 40-something year old skin!

• Activate the formula by vigorously shaking the bottle until the two formula layers are evenly mixed.
• The formula needs to be activated only one time, after that the formula will remain mixed.

• Unscrew and remove the gold cap at the tip of the Bi-Ampoule dropper.
• Gently squeeze the rubber dropper to release 4-6 drops onto the palm of your hand or directly onto cleansed skin. If only targeting specific areas, release only 1-2 drops onto the fingertip.
• Gently massage onto the face and neck until absorbed.

The Absolue Overnight Repairing Bi-Ampoule Serum is another one of my favorite Lancôme products. This serum is a winner of the Marie Claire 2020 Beauty Game Changer awards and was featured in Allure in 2020 as a "Best New Skincare Product". I have to agree with the beauty editors at Marie Claire and Allure - this innovative and award winning product is amazing! If you aren't familiar with the difference between moisturizers and serums, let me explain the difference at a high level. Serums penetrate more deeply into the skin to deliver active ingredients. Moisturizers focus on the surface of the skin to increase hydration. Personally, I use both serums and moisturizers since they are designed to target different layers of the skin. In particular, I use this Lancôme Absolue Overnight Repairing Bi-Ampoule Serum in the evening because it is a potent, overnight skin-repairing bi-phases concentrate that repairs skin's moisture barrier to provide instant radiance, 24 hour hydration, and reduces signs of aging. This is the serum that you want if you are concerned about fine lines, wrinkles, dryness, dullness, uneven texture, or loss of firmness and elasticity. This serum is meant for all skin types and even works for sensitive skin. The bottle lasts a long times since you only need 4 to 6 drops per day.
