If you follow regularly, you know that one of our favorite activities of the year is ICE! at the Gaylord Texan! This popular tradition for North Texans disappeared during the pandemic and is finally back. This year's theme is Polar Express. This sparkling attraction is sure to mesmerize visitors of all ages! We recently visited and felt like we were whisked away to a winter wonderland! I won't spoil too many surprises, but I'll share a few photos to give you an idea of what to expect!
The Gaylord Texan ICE! exhibit starts with a chance to touch real snow! My children loved this!
There were also opportunities to learn about the ice carvers from Harbin and the tools and techniques that they used.
We then picked up our parkas and enjoyed the ICE! exhibit. True to the spirit of Polar Express, we walked through sparkling ice exhibits that featured scenes inspired by the movie. I won't spoil too many surprises, but we found it mesmerizing! We also appreciated that there were opportunities for my energetic children to pose for photos. They were even able to wiggle and giggle down slides made from, you guessed it... ICE!
Our visit wasn't complete without visiting Merry & Bright! This whimsical winter wonderland is outdoors and includes millions of twinkling lights. I won't spoil too many surprises, but I will share that our family enjoyed walking through the beautiful lights, listening to Christmas music, and taking photos! It's a must-do experience every holiday season!
