North Texas weather is tough on houses. My roof was recently damaged by high winds. Some of our shingles blew off. I found them in our yard, gutters, street, and driveway. I wasn't sure who to contact, but I remembered meeting people from Griffith Roofing at various events in Southlake Town Square over the years such as Art in the Square. They sometimes had a booth with a little golf game that my kids loved. They were always friendly and professional. So, when our roof needed repairs, I had them in mind. In today's post, I'll tell you about our experience from start to end. Spoiler alert - Griffith Roofing has my vote as the best roofer in Southlake!
As I mentioned earlier, my first step was to find the best roofer in Southlake by asking friends and neighbors for recommendations. Many people recommended Griffith Roofing, so I dug deeper and found that they are an award-winning business that was voted as the Best Roofer in Southlake for 14 consecutive years! While they are based in Southlake, they also work on roofs throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth metro and also won awards as the #1 roofer in Dallas. After my research and experience with them, it was clear that their award-winning reputation is due to many factors. The Griffith Roofing team includes overachievers who pay meticulous attention to detail in their work and care about their customers and reputation. They've thought about the customer experience from start to end in order to earn their excellent reputation and awards.
The first step of the process was an inspection. One of the lead roofing experts, David, was great about quickly coming by to check out the damage and let me know what to expect. I appreciated that he was a good communicator and that he was confident that they could quickly repair the damage. After all, he has years of experience and they are used to steep roofs in Southlake and throughout the metro. In the photo above, you'll notice that we have a steep roof. He put me at ease that they were pros and would be able to climb onto my roof to "walk the roof" to find and fix all of the problems.
The next step was for the Griffith Roofing team to order the shingles for the repair. Griffith Roofing only orders top-quality supplies because they want their work to last. They repaired four areas of our roof and inspected everything again to ensure that our roof was in good shape before they left. I could tell he cared about the quality of their work and genuinely loved his job when he explained everything to me. I learned that there were four areas damaged by wind and that the damage was just the top layer of shingles which was easy for them to repair. He also reassured me that while my roof is old, it still has more life in it and we are good for a while. I felt relieved to know that I chose the best roofer in Southlake and that he gave meticulous attention to detail in terms of the materials that they used and the meticulous attention to detail when they installed them.
I should mention that they were very clean and considerate. They needed to enter my neighbor's yard in order to access the area of our roof with damage. Despite the hot and humid June weather, they had full energy while repairing the roof and were very considerate. There was no debris or litter in our neighbors yard. They have kids and a small dog, so I was happy that we didn't have to worry about debris or nails in their yard.
Finally, throughout the process, my calls and texts were answered promptly. Their friendliness and communication throughout the process truly set them apart. They kept us informed at every step, answering all our questions with patience and clarity. Their professional yet approachable demeanor made the entire project smooth and stress-free.
